THE BUBBLE PIANO
Who is literally gliding on the water!
A stunning vision, this piano appears to rest directly on the water's surface, surrounded by glass bubbles. In addition to this magical image, it's the rich sound of the Sauter grand piano that captivates the audience... The idea is ingenious: a platform submerges under the weight of the piano, just enough for us to forget it... The circle of glass demijohns adds the desired buoyancy to make the illusion perfect, depending on the number of artists on the water.
Performance locations: calm waters, no current.
Draft: 50 cm.
THE PÉDALOPIANO
To pedal on the waves!
Upon seeing this hybrid vessel, a cross between a pedal boat and a paddlewheel boat, one imagines music straight out of the bayou... but not only... A straight grand piano by Rameau sits on a vintage pedal boat, with beautiful wooden finishes. The whole thing is maneuvered by leg power, using an ingenious double-pedal system.
Performance locations: calm to slightly turbulent waters, small wavelets, a slight current is tolerated.
Draft: 70 cm. Launch: from a bank, beach, ramp, or slope.
Direct launch into deep water is impossible unless a crane is available.
Artistic format: solo, duo, or trio depending on whether the pilot is also one of the musicians.
THE FLOATING UPPER PIANO
for all small pool !
A sleek style, the simplest floating piano in our collection. A Sauter upright piano, adorned with two rectangular floats. The impression of a piano that has escaped from its bar... Perfect for all small spaces, pools, fountains... and magnificent at night under spotlights.
Performance locations: calm waters, no current.
Draft: 50 cm.
Launch: from a bank, beach, ramp, or slope. Direct launch into deep water or from a step is impossible unless by crane.
Artistic format: solo.
THE CATAPIANO
to descend into the current !
The Yamaha C3 is a grand quarter-tail piano, and not just any, as it is a flagship model of the brand. For this occasion, it has been slightly transformed and grafted onto a floating catamaran base. This allows it to navigate and play despite a small current, and to withstand slightly more turbulent water. The black color of the whole gives a certain class to this floating craft that never hesitates to move away from the shores.
Performance locations: calm to slightly turbulent waters, small wavelets, a slight current is tolerated.
Draft: 50 cm. Launch: from a bank, beach, ramp, possible directly in deep water... Crane loading is possible.
Artistic format: from solo to quartet. Two small wooden platforms, one at the front and the other at the rear, can be added to the CatapianO to accommodate a small chamber orchestra.
Water-level piano
wich sail on the surface of the water
The C5 is a technical feat: on the one hand, it's a reference-level Yamaha grand piano, on the other, a real balancing act has been achieved. Deprived of its legs, it is literally placed on the water, surrounded by a metal/wood/polystyrene hull ensuring buoyancy and a great aesthetic. The pianist plays with their legs in the water, the pedals are completely submerged.
Performance locations: calm waters, no current.
Draft: 70 cm.
Launch: from a bank, beach, or ramp. Direct launch into deep water is impossible.
Artistic format: solo and duo only.
THE PIANOS OF THE SEAS
sailboat piano to cross the oceans in music !
Imagine a piano venturing forth on the waves, braving the storm to reach its destination and deliver its symphony, composed amidst the spray, inspired by seabirds and flying fish. Imagine a piano-boat capable of crossing oceans, reaching any beach, anchoring in the most inaccessible coves, and projecting its melodies up to eighty meters to the audience, peacefully seated on the shore, on a boat, or in the water, thanks to a weatherproof sound system. The sea piano is a performance boat, a poetic and modern vision, a hybrid vessel combining sailboat and piano.
THE FLOATING PIANOS ORCHESTRA
